Project 2: Death Note
Art: For art I've only made a few sketches so far but what I've made is my own character named Zero, his real name is Arthur Princeton. His perspective is logical and sides with Kira. For the drawing I wanted to make Zero at a desk, looking at his computer. I wanted to give small hints of his perspective on kira. He is a supporter so I wanted him to have a pro-Kira website and have newspaper articles scattered across his room. Instead, at the very bottom is my finished piece. I remade it to so more of Zero's perspective and I also added a small inside joke to the show.
History: For history I wanted to show the evolution of technology and the reason why many people are introduced to anime. I wanted to show the inventions that have brought America into the light and how Asian culture is so popular now with people.I chose the perspective of inventor Thomas Edison to analyze the new technology. I looked at what technology Thomas Edison had created and looked at the progression of technology and added what his thoughts on other technologies were.
English: For English I made two poems in the perspective of the two main characters L and Light from an anime called Death Note. In death note there are no shown sides or who is good or evil, its up to the watcher. The perspectives are important as they are the main characters and the main sides you can choose in the show. This project theme was perspective so I looked at the world L and Light were living in and then looked at their lives and backgrounds.
